A partnership to activate Cataño's local businesses: turn the cruise and ferry visitors who already come for Casa Bacardí into a managed, revenue-generating destination economy, powered by the same tourism technology running on cruise.plus today.

Visitors arrive by ferry and tour bus for Casa Bacardí, then leave. Our mandate is cruise-boat optimization: extend dwell time, and capture more of each visitor's spend in Cataño's own businesses.
A tour, a tasting and back to the ship — roughly $12 per visitor retained locally (illustrative).
Passport offers, food, rum and waterfront trails, tickets and events — roughly $65 per visitor (illustrative).
San Juan set a record 1.4M cruise passengers in 2024 (+10%), and the Nov 2025–Apr 2026 season ran +43% year over year. At a $104 average onshore spend, that is a ~$146M annual cruise-spend pool around San Juan. Per-visitor figures and the 25% capture target are illustrative, not forecasts.
The Cataño Passport is the system of record for every visit: check in at stops, redeem offers, earn rewards. It ties merchants, attractions and tickets into one managed visitor journey, and turns a 90-minute Bacardí stop into a half-day in Cataño.
Every participating business, attraction and event on one phone-first map.
Admissions, tours and events with checkout, QR redemption and payout built in.
Redeemable offers, stamps, repeat-visit rewards and win-back.
Mapped, offer-linked routes — rum, food, waterfront and art — with no added staff.
Pre-bookable experiences sized to the 3–4 hour cruise window.
QR at the ferry, Casa Bacardí and the cruise pier; follow-up by SMS and push where visitors opt in.
Built on the same technology stack as cruise.plus, CrewPerk and Retreats.plus — licensed and themed for Cataño, not a custom build.
Merchant recruitment runs as a managed demand-generation program, sequenced outward from the Casa Bacardí and ferry walking core.
Food and beverage, rum, coffee and artisan retail, tours and water excursions, attractions and museums, transport and lodging.
Claim, configure and go live the same day. The first 20 merchants are onboarded white-glove, then the program scales to self-serve.
Free → Featured → Sponsored, priced for Puerto Rico small businesses (price points finalized before launch).
Managed cruise and visitor demand that no single merchant can generate alone.
Featured listings and imagery, Passport offers, video tours, social promotion, influencer activations (including Ivan), event promotion to visitors on the island, and loyalty and rewards.
Tickets scale with visitors; memberships and advertising scale with merchants. Each reports as its own line.
| Revenue line | How it earns | Illustrative mix |
|---|---|---|
| Merchant memberships | Monthly Free / Featured / Sponsored tiers, plus a featured-listing add-on for top-of-category and map-pin priority | 45% |
| Ticket commissions | About 10–20% per ticket on admissions, tours and events; checkout, redemption and payout on the platform | 35% |
| Advertising & sponsorship | Sponsored promotions sold by campaign or impressions across the network, including outside ad demand on Cataño inventory | 20% |
The revenue mix is illustrative; the final mix is set at scale and price points are finalized before launch.
Bacardí and the cruise lines already create the traffic. The program's job is to capture and extend it, with the municipality and Puerto Rico's incentive framework designed in from the start.
The anchor and front door to the town: each tour hands off into the Cataño Passport and a managed itinerary.
Excursions placed on shore-excursion manifests, with partners on the ferry and transport legs.
Museums, attractions and cultural organizations onboarded as ticketed inventory, with a booking system many lack today.
Economic development — foot traffic, merchant revenue and jobs — with co-marketing, pier and ferry signage and event support.
Off-island advertising and software services can qualify for Act 60's 4% export-services rate under a tax decree, structured with Puerto Rico counsel.
A live platform demo and a first merchant cohort already signed, asking for a memo of support plus signage and permitting cooperation.
Incentive eligibility is confirmed with Puerto Rico counsel and the Department of Economic Development and Commerce.
We program Cataño as a managed destination, not a single attraction. The KPI is simple: dwell time and local spend.
A curated, recurring calendar of live music and cultural showcases, bookable on the Passport.
Rum, coffee, food and waterfront routes that move visitors from business to business.
Puerto Rico is a boxing nation: recurring fight nights as a marquee ticketed and sponsored draw.
The Roatán playbook: a four-day, island-wide program engaging 2,000+ people, built in three weeks.
Ivan and local creators seed the story — “Ivan's Cataño” funnels an audience straight into the Passport.

An island-wide program in Roatán and a luxury launch in Old San Juan.
Designed a nonprofit strategy and an island-wide program — pro soccer retreat, a first-ever 5K, beach cleanup, kids' day and a 2,000+ match — on a three-week turnaround.
Planned and coordinated a red-carpet launch event for a diamond house in Old San Juan, complete with an acquired fashion line on the runway.
When COVID hit, rewrote in-person curriculum and project design into a fully virtual program — delivered within weeks of notice.

Jeff Cline, Krystalore Crews, and their team brought big ideas to life through strategic partnerships, investor relations, sales strategy, and on-site project execution. From leveraging predictive technology to identify high-intent investors and hosting biweekly investor experiences to activating public-private partnerships, the team connected vision with measurable action.
Their work included orchestrating a four-day, island-wide event engaging over 2,000 people, bringing together nonprofits, businesses, and sponsors in just three weeks.
One team. Bold vision. Real-world impact.

Retreats.plus, Cruise.plus, CrewPerk and our retreats — platforms built and running in Puerto Rico on one proprietary technology stack.
The team has launched dozens of companies with multiple exits, and built a consumer program to 35,000+ inbound calls.
This is work we've already done with the one-for-many strategy: one proprietary technology stack powering consumer, crew and retreat platforms in Puerto Rico — and extending to Roatán, Cozumel and the dozens of cruise ports we'll add over time.
Every cruise port, one pass: port-day offers for visitors, and Get to Know San Juan turning visitors into future owners.

A public-private partnership program to bring connectivity and technology across the island and tourism to Roatán's East End (José Santos Guardiola), built on the same proprietary stack — with a $6.125 million soft-commit MOU out with a lead investor. (A soft commitment under an MOU, not a closed investment; nothing here is an offer of securities.)
The same package and pricing as our real estate partnerships — the complete activation, marketing and technology team — with fees that step down as sales come in.
| Success Package · Full-Service | Terms |
|---|---|
| Includes | Destination strategy, the Cataño Passport and platform, local business activation, events and marketing; a dedicated concierge; third-party partners as needed, all within one management system |
| Launch & setup | $7,500 one-time — discovery, brand system, website, CRM and technology build |
| Monthly retainer | $32,500 per month — strategy, marketing, sales operations, technology and reporting |
| Media & events | $7,500 per month at the first tier; $15,000 per month at the second — as needed and pre-approved. Additional spend goes toward activation dollars. |

Total sales are defined in the MOU (for example memberships, ticket sales and sponsorships generated through the program). A quarter with $3,000,000 in total sales: 10% = $300,000, less three monthly retainers (3 × $32,500 = $97,500) = $202,500, less any third-party fees on those sales. Illustrative, not a forecast. Structured with Puerto Rico counsel.
